The Hocking College women's basketball team delivered a dominant performance on both ends of the floor, cruising to a 62–39 victory over the Community College of Allegheny County.

Hocking set the tone early behind strong defensive pressure and balanced scoring, building momentum throughout the game and never allowing Allegheny County to find a rhythm. The Hawks' defensive effort was especially evident in the passing lanes and at the rim, as they forced turnovers and controlled the glass for most of the contest.

The starters for Hocking College were Gianna Boyce, Carmyn Woods, Hawa Ba, Hazely Wagner, and Aliyah Brock, all of whom made key contributions to the win.

Carmyn Woods led the Hawks offensively with 12 points while also stuffing the stat sheet with four rebounds, five steals, and two blocks. Hawa Ba was a force in the paint, finishing with seven points, a game-high 13 rebounds, two assists, and three blocks. Lilly Weaver provided a spark off the bench, contributing eight points, four rebounds, five assists, and five steals, showcasing her all-around impact.

Additional scoring came from Aubriona Benjamin and Tori Rose, who each added eight points. Rose also pulled down six rebounds and recorded a block. Gianna Boyce chipped in six points and five assists, while Hazely Wagner added six points, three rebounds, two assists, and two blocks. Aubree Carroll grabbed six rebounds to go along with four points and two assists, and Aliyah Brock contributed six rebounds, an assist, and four steals. Arianna Fee scored three points, and Emani Tynes and Alexus Miller added defensive and rebounding support off the bench.

With the convincing win, Hocking College continues to build momentum as conference play progresses. The Hawks will be back in action on January 14, 2026, when they return home to face Lorain County.
