Hawks WBB lands 3 Players with OCCAC Honors
Hocking College WBB caps off an OCCAC conference championship by landing 3 players with conference honors.
Hawa Ba is selected as the OCCAC defensive player of the year, marking the 3rd season in a row that a Hocking player has garnered this award. The 6'3 center led the conference in block shots with 75 (3 per game), and averaged right under 9 rebounds per contest for the Hawks. The 2 year starter led the conference in blocked shots as freshman as well.
Lilly Weaver, 5'6 sophomore guard from Urbana, OH, landed 2nd team OCCAC honors after averaging 11 points, 7 rebounds, and 5 assists per game. She led all perimeter players in rebounds per game and offensive rebounds. Lilly was a 2 year starter for the Hawks and led the team in assists as a freshman in her previous season at Hocking.
Carmyn Woods, 6'0 forward from Columbus, OH lands on the OCCAC 1st team as a freshman. Carmyn led the Hawks in scoring and rebounding with 13 ppg and 7.6 rebounds per contest. The Harvest Prep product shot 53% from the field and blocked 2 shots per game as well.

The Hawks finished 20-5 this season and won the OCCAC with a 9-3 record.
