About Hocking College Men's Basketball

Men’s basketball enters its fourth-year with new head coach Ryan Miley, former coach at OSU-Mansfield.  The team competes in Region XII, D-III, of the NJCAA.  The squad completed the 2017-18 season in competitive fashion with an overall record of 12-18 and a mark of 3-11 in the very strong OCCAC (Ohio Community College Athletic Association).

Ryan Miley
Men's Basketball Head Coach

Ryan Miley enters his first year as Men’s Head Basketball Coach.  He is from Tampa, FL, where he attended Wharton High School.

Miley graduated from Ashford University and then earned his Masters of Science in Athletic Administration from Western Kentucky University.

Coach Miley brings 10 years of coaching experience to the program. He has coached at five different colleges including head coaching positions at Ohio State Marion, University of Cincinnati Clermont and, most recently, Ohio State Mansfield. At Ohio State Marion, Coach Miley compiled a 58-53 record, finishing 2009 ranked #12 and a 2010 ranking at #8.

Prior to Hocking College, he held a 29-28 record as the Head Coach of Ohio State Mansfield.
